JHS seniors Rachel Peterson and Alec Welch have been selected for the 2015 Missouri Scholars 100.
JHS TV Production students earned 1st place in every single category as well as 2nd place in best acting.

Joplin Athletics Booster Club will be sponsoring the "Who Do You Play For" powder puff football game at 5:00, on April 26th, on the football field at JHS. Before the game their will be a pep rally at 3:30 and a meet the coaches night beginning at 4:00 for any upcoming 9-12th grade athlete. Food and beverages will be available. All proceeds will benefit Special Olympics. Also Freeman will be in the gyms at the high school conducting free physicals for upcoming 7-12 grade students who plan to participate in athletics beginning at 2:00pm. The JHS Black Ops Film club, in conjunction with the art department will be hosting Art Fest to benefit project hope for Laura. If you or someone you know want to learn how to throw pottery, tie die shirts, or participate in one of our many craft classes then mark your calendars for April, 23 at 5:00.
