This is my 9th year in the Joplin R-8 School District. I have previously taught in The Blue Valley School District and the Olathe School District, both located in Overland Park, Kansas. I have also worked in law enforcement.

I have a beautiful son, Gavin, who is 4.

I would say my 3 biggest hobbies are photography, scrapbooking, and technology. Science is truly my favorite subject to teach, as all of my students will tell you.

I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in the 3rd grade. My paths have always led in this direction.

I believe that all children can learn. It takes true collaboration between students, parents, and myself. Thank you for sharing them with me.
