West Central Safety Patrol

       For the second year, the 5th grade students of West Central will serve on a safety patrol. This will be a privilege earned by good behavior, appropriate conduct, and academic effort in the classroom.
       The 8 assigned positions will rotate on a weekly basis. An orange vest will be provided. Each safety patrol officer will need to report to his or her assigned position at 7:45 am. to 8:05 am. If the officer eats breakfast at school, they must wear their vest in the cafeteria so Betty and the teacher on duty can acknowledge them and allow them to move to the front of the line. At the end of the day, the officer will remain at their assigned post from 2:55 pm. to 3:10 pm.
