Welcome to Irving Elementary!

Irving Elementary parents and staff members work together to provide a quality education to approximately 275 students. Increases in student achievement have resulted in Irving Elementary being named as a Top Ten Most-Improved School by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

The use of technology is increasing at Irving Elementary, and we are privileged to offer eMINTS classrooms for many of our students. These rooms are equipped with one computer for every two students, a digital scanner and camera, and a SMART Board interactive whiteboard. Students are developing cooperative projects using iMovie and Power Point. Additionally, staff and students use Palm handheld computers. This use of technology leads to increased student achievement at Irving Elementary School.

Volunteers are encouraged to become a part of the Irving team through the TREK tutoring program in which volunteers and students work together after school for one hour per week. Please feel free to visit Irving Elementary and tour this site to learn more about our school.
